Customer Service Representative
Location: Orwigsburg, PA
Summary:The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides daily support to PWI customers. Work with Claims Adjusters to quickly and efficiently resolve issues and problems. Answer incoming customer calls and address questions and concerns efficiently. Provide excellent customer service to customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Answer incoming phone calls. Explain policies, procedures, and contractual terms to customers. Establish new claims for customers, validating the pertinent facts of the claim by asking questions and/or clarifying with customer. Answer customer questions regarding contract coverage and claim status. Work closely with Claims Adjusters to resolve problems and complaints. Work closely with and understand functions of other company departments to ensure top notch customer service to customers. File documents and process customer mailings as needed. Other duties, as assigned.
Educational Requirements and Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required. Some post high school course work in related field is preferred. One (1) to three (3) years of prior customer service experience is preferred. Prior experience in the automotive and service contract services industry is also preferred. Position requires demonstrated organizational, clerical, oral, and written language skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Telephone, computer, standard office equipment.
Physical and Visual Requirements
Position requires sitting for extended periods in an office environment with some walking, standing, and carrying (files, folders, etc.). Frequent user of telephone and computer.
Environmental - Atmospheric Conditions
General office environment.
