Job Description: Performs corporate paralegal functions for the Chief Legal Officer and responsible for all functions related to supporting the LVHN Board of Trustees. Serves as liaison between the Board, CEO, and senior management. Serves as assistant secretary of the corporation. In performing these duties, must utilize good judgment and perform under the direction of legal counsel within paralegal practice standards. Completes all work accurately. Must be flexible and handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing accordingly. Must understand confidentiality, specifically working under attorney/client and work product privileges.

Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have level of knowledge of legal functions, procedural/substantive, normally acquired by completing a associate's degree. A minimum of seven (7) years of paralegal experience in the areas of corporate and business law in law firm or corporate legal department is required. Must currently be or, be willing to become a licensed Notary Public in the State of Pennsylvania. Note taking/dictation abilities are required. Must have professional discretion with information understanding the need to insure attorney-client privilege and the ability to work well under stress and with minimal supervision. Must display extreme professional discretion with information and have excellent written and verbal communication skills relative to extensive communication with the Board of Trustees, LVHN senior management, community leaders, and staff. Must possess excellent organizational skills. Must be able to work independently and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supporting Board of Trustees highly desirable; paralegal certificate with emphasis on corporate work; Commonwealth of Pennsylvania notary public license desired.

Licensure and Certifications: Paralegal certificate and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Notary Public license as applicable.
