Purpose, Scope, & Dimension of Job:



The Accounts Payable Analyst reports to
the Accounting Supervisor and assists with accounts payable functions including
invoice processing and payment.  In
addition the accounts payable analyst assists with entering cash receipts, and
issuance of customer refunds.  THE
accounts payable analyst is an integral part of the accounting team.  The ideal candidate possess strong
organizational skills and communication skills, as well as great math and
problem solving skills.



Essential Duties/Major Accountabilities:



  1. Vendor
    invoice input and statement review to ensure bills are paid properly and on
    time
  2. Credit
    card expense input including tracking of credit card receipts
  3. Daily
    cash deposit processing and lender fundings
  4. Process
    customer refunds
  5. Other
    various ad hoc requirements










Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, &
Abilities:




  1. Organized

  2. Math proficient

  3. Basic computer skills


    • Microsoft Excel
      Spreadsheets

    • QuickBooks/Other
      accounting software


  4. Must be able to work independently
    as well as part of a team

  5. Problem solving

  6. High School Diploma

  7. Some
    experience in Accounting or still in school studying accounting





Additional Preferred Qualifications:



  1. Associate’s Degree
  2. 2 years of accounting experience
  3. Management experience






Physical Requirements:



  1. Must
    be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods
  2. Requires
    the ability to move about inside the office
  3. Must
    be able to move items weighing up to 25 pounds
  4. Must
    be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, vendors, and the
    public
  5. Constantly
    operates a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copy
    machine and computer printer










Hours/Schedule:



Full-time, 40 hours per week/52 weeks per year. Standard
hours are M – F, 8:00 – 5:00 but due to cyclical nature of position, some
overtime, including evening and weekend hours, may be required to complete
projects under deadlines. Some local and statewide travel may be required.
