Job Description

Provides receptionist and administrative assistance to the BRIDG organization.

Responsible for supporting BRIDG’s administrative needs.

Coordinate all activities with the BRIDG Executive Assistant

Provide receptionist duties for BRIDG welcoming guests and managing access to the BRIDG facility for all visitors. Presents his/herself in a professional and polite manner.

Coordinates travel for the BRIDG office. Processes all travel expense reports for the office ensuring expense reports are submitted, following up if payments are late, and tracking when payments are made.

Fields incoming phone calls for BRIDG. Direct calls to appropriate persons within BRIDG.

Monitors and respond to all inquiries into the BRIDG email.

Manage conference room schedules for the office. Ensures that conference rooms are presentable.

Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and presentations to support BRIDG’s Directors.

Maintains up-to-date information about visitors and activities on the welcome monitor in the BRIDG reception area.

Coordinates business event registration including handling credit card transactions

Coordinates administrative activities between the CEO and his directors.

Exercises discretion in the handling and dissemination of confidential and other sensitive information (such as human resource related information).

Other duties as assigned.

The university is currently seeking a Senior Secretary, BRIDG.  This Staff position is located in our

Research-Commercialization department.

Annual Salary:  $24,531.46 to Negotiable


Minimum Qualifications:

A high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Attainment of a score of at least 35 cwpm on an approved typing test. If minimum requirements of the position do not require post high school education, an applicant is not required to provide the information on the application.



Florida licensed notary public.

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills and should have the ability to work with diverse populations.

Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and critical analyses abilities.

Prefer knowledge and experience with UCF policies and procedures.
